Defense of the Heart is the headline reprint. The original Stronghold (1998) printing has been a $35-50 Commander card for years; a Secret Lair foil-only at $44.99 is approximately at parity with the original's mid, which is unusual — typically Secret Lair foils undercut originals on first-printing Reserved-List-adjacent cards. Our read: this print run is likely small enough that the SLD foil floats above $40 even after the supply lands. Anhelo, the Painter (SLD) is a New Capenna mythic that has been a $25-30 card in original printing. Expect the original to dip 10-15% within 60 days, settling near $22-25, then recover. Historical parallel: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver Secret Lair (2024) caused a 12% original dip that fully recovered within 4 months.

Foil/non-foil anomalies. Grim Monolith (Urza's Legacy) at $436.16 non-foil vs $3,498.00 foil (+702.0%) is in line with Reserved-List foil scarcity — we flag it as the comp for Mox Diamond (Stronghold) at $1,066.67 when a foil surfaces. Radiate (SLD) at +137.7% is too rich; first-week SLD foils typically normalize to 60-90% premium. Action: sell Radiate foils above $18, plan to re-buy at $13-14.

Format rotation play. Watch Tocasia's Welcome (PRM, 2026-04-28) — losing Standard relevance but holding Commander strength. Buy the original Brothers' War printing on a dip below $4.

Psa Grading Intelligence

Graded vs raw on Power 9. Reserved List Power-tier cards like Mox Sapphire (Unlimited) at $3,900.00 raw and Mox Emerald (Unlimited) at $3,670.00 raw carry well-documented PSA premiums when graded clean: PSA 8 typically clears 1.4-1.6x raw mid, PSA 9 clears 2.0-2.4x, and PSA 10 (which is essentially impossible on a 1993 Unlimited card without machine-perfect handling) commands 3.5-5.0x.
